Aly'ffyn tossed and turned well into the late-watch. Aly listened to her big brother Ceil's call for the changing of the guard and the simple pleasentries the Jalukul exchanged as Ceil's footsteps, measured and patient, could be heard throughout the halls. Normally, the knowledge that her brother was close at hand and his constant vigilance would be enough to allow Aly to sleep, but not this night. Aly hated herself for that, it was near blasphemy to hold a male so close but she needed her brother and she knew it. She grumbled to herself as sleep eluded her, the sheets were covered in her sweat and her thoughts were only of the one.

A simple patrol through the apes was all it was. Easy enough sport for the three nobles... the one of shadow skill the other a fearn. The first born of the new house... a fearn of some skill. "Noble Born," she called him teasingly at first, but he seemed to enjoy it. His touch still burned on her skin. It was to easy she thought... to seduce such a noble at first. But now, she had her doubts. Could such a noble mean his words so true? "I am but a servant after all," Aly chided herself, and his mother is an ilharess... not one to anger for sure. She would never agree to her first born and a shebali... noble marked or not. Her thoughts drifted back to her brother... so easy it was for him to deal with his station. After all, no one expected much of a jaluk.

First-watch was called and again Ceil could be heard in the halls barking orders to jalukul. She listened to his measured passes and remembered the days before Morcane had called her to service and finally slept. She dreamed of the noble borns touch and that one kiss. She awoke at mid-watch and slowly picked herself up along with her belongings. There was work to do she thought, this would have to wait.

The elders called her to counsel. Aly smirked to herself slightly, as she entered the Morcane temple. The elders of the house, to lazy to write their own notes used her for such and also to entertain them when the occasion warranted it. This was not the case today. The air in the temple was serious and grim. Alylooked for Ceil but he wasn't around... this time she would have to deal with her anxiety alone. It seems there are trials and tribulations ahead for the second house and Aly was involved. She would prove herself to the house and to Ceil. If not, Lolth would take her as he willed.

Ceil is aly'ffyns older brother called to service for the second house as an entertainer and recorder. Aly has a lot of character flaws especially when it comes to a certain male(for the moment). A few you can pick up here... but also she racked with anxiety and guilt over being the second born and a female. She is getting somewhat zealous about lloth from hanging around the yathrin Ev a lot. When she gets her persistent aura she will have another change in her personality as well.

I very much like how you begin to develop the characters and the storyline. It reads much like the start of a soap opera which are known for catching the interest of viewers. Very well done!

Aly'ffyn awoke to a house of movement. The halls were filled with Jalukul guards storing provisions and stockpiling weapons. As Aly'ffyn traveled down the halls she could see the war wizards of Morcane who normally sat at their desks in quiet study. Now, stood in their great library with the spells of protection and death just a moment from their lips. Yathtaller Xi' could be heard in the Morcane Temple with the other Yath of the house in deep commune with Lolth. Aly'ffyn had hoped to join the yathrin for their morning prayers and add her song to the voices of praise... but this time the door was blocked by a Jaluk guard who said this was no place for a young jalil.

None of this made sense to Aly, but she was much to young to understand or care about the politics. She tried her best to move through the crowded falls and find her brother. As she approached the steps leading to the nobles quarters she could see Nawen giving last minute orders to the hunters of Morcane. Once in a while Nawen found the time to listen to Aly's songs or give Aly a tale to add to her collection... but not this time. Aly continued her journey through the house to look for her brother. She traced a crack in the wall with her fingertip like she had done so many times before... this gave Aly some solace that things were not so different now.

Aly found her big brother at the hallway leading to the gate of the house. He stood watching and giving orders to the guards who were preparing extra defenses . It took Ceil few moments to even realize Aly was there, when he did he offered her the same warm smile he always did. But, deep in the back of that melancholy demeanor, Aly could tell he, was deeply troubled. For the first time ever Ceil told Aly that "for the moment," Sizith was not safe. She should not venture far without the protection of a Morcane Yathrin or Jabress. Ceil told her not to trust the Jalukul guards... they could be easily bought. Things were changing in Sizith, for the better or worse Aly could not tell. But, make no mistakes, what ever would happen Morcane was ready.

Aly stood in Qos preparing herself for the patrol to the cave rivvil. Thaluk, a fearn of Kor'ali had joined her and added the aid of his enchantments. As the fearn went through his spellbooks a lone kivvil who went by the name of Razlo approached Aly. Aly had seen this one before, he tried to pass himself off as a guard of Qos then but Aly did not believe it.

Aly and Razlo spoke of simple matters... Aly might have use for this one in the future, she thought to herself, as he seemed to go on and on about his skills. Razlo stated that he would not deal with anyone who wouldn't show their face... Aly foolishly agreed and removed her hood. Ralzo's jaw dropped as he looked on Aly'ffyn... indeed he was like a dog in heat.

At first, Razlo's advances were subtle... Aly thought she could deal with that and use it to her advantage. Bad idea, Razlo began to move closer to Aly forcing her to back up against a boulder. Thinking quickly Aly casted a simple illusion spell that she hoped would distract Razlo long enough for her it get out of the way... it did. Razlo went for one of her "mirror images" and Aly made a break for it. Clear of Danger now, Aly stopped and began to order Razlo to control himself... it was like screaming at a wall. Again he approached and this time a gnome who was hidden till then dispelled her illusion.

Aly was pressed against a cabin of Qos while Razlo again made an advance... her training kicked in and she pushed him as hard as she could... Razlo tried to dodge it but couldnt and fell to the ground which gave Aly enough time to head for the safety of the underdark. Aly Swore she would not take off her hood in public again... she fixes her hood constantly now making sure it conceals as much of her face as possible. She knew she looked good for a shebali jalil... but not that good!

we need to make him pay, dalninil.

I have some very cruel ideas of how he must suffer for his deeds.

Aly'Ffyn traveled to the krushers on this patrol. There she met noble born and his mother the Ilharess Vorne. The Ilharess excused herself a moment while Aly and noble born prepared for the fight against the krushers. After a few moments the Ilharess could be seen again. "Don't either of dos vithing move!" shouted the Ilharess as she approached the two. Aly knew right away what this about... she had dreaded this moment and here it was.

The Ilharess confronted the two about their "involvement together". There was no point in lying now... and they both admitted it. This seemed to infuriate the Ilharess... who focused all her attention now on Aly. The Ilharess struck Aly bringing her to her knees... Aly knew better then to try to resist... she simply kneeled down and bowed her head. The Ilharess brought Aly to near death who then shifted her attention to her son... though his beating was much less. Finally the Ilharess threw Aly into a wall of blades and the last thing she felt was the blades biting into her flesh.

Aly was in pain... more pain then she ever experienced before. There was light and she heard a voice... maybe two... but she couldn't focus on it and someone grabbed her chin and forced a bitter tasting liquid down her throat. Aly coughed and choked but was forced to swallow it.. and in a few minutes the pain was gone. The pain was gone and Aly felt like she was floating on air then she fell asleep.

Aly awoke lightheaded and weak. She couldnt open her eyes yet but she could feel a pillow under her head and a blanket over her. When she finally was able to open her eyes a familiar face hovered over her... it was Maya the sorceress that her big brother warned her about. Aly was to weak to say anything as Maya comforted her. She looked down and saw her wounds were tended to and Maya explained that her rothe had found me near death in the krushers and asked what happened... Aly tried to remember the attack but only visions of pain flashed before her eyes. It seemed to Aly that Maya and Irrtana had saved her life.

thou shall not metagame the following!
As Aly laid there on the table Maya spoke to her in a soft comforting voice... she told Aly that someone in the Morcane house had betrayed her and told Vorne of the affair. She told Aly that for her own protection she would have to stay in the Mori house until Maya could figure who it was, and what had happened. Aly was too dazed by the drug to think logically about the situation... she only knew that if it wasn't for Maya and Irrtana, she would be dead. Maya gave Aly another potion that she said would help Aly sleep... and it did. Aly fell into a deep slumber.
End of Metagame Warning!

Aly awoke in an extravagant bedroom. Her head was spinning and she felt pain everywhere. She tried to get up but her weak legs wouldn't support her and she crashed to the floor with a hard, loud thud. Aly was to weak to even cry out but she heard a door unluck and a jaluk ran in and picked up and placed her back on the bed. Aly looked around the room and saw her belongings in the corner stacked neatly. Aly was confused as she saw her weapon there with her belongings... then realized it would be foolish to try to escape with the guards at the door... the weapon was there to show her how futile it would be to try to escape.

This is all from my IC perspective of the event. I left out all the things I heard while I was dead... sorry guys. Irrtana played this very well... I didn't see her during the Ilharess attack and have no clue IC about how the ilharess found out.

Aly stood in a valley where the trees walked. The air was bitter cold.. a sensation to Aly she had never felt before. Indeed, her skin almost burned. In-front of her stood a human male... well aged and in full plate. His aura brought a chill inside Aly as she attempted to size him up. He offered her a cloak to deal with the cold after Aly asked how anyone could live in such climate.

"Drow" he said accusingly... and Aly did not reply at first. He had recognized her Armor though... for he had seen it before. Aly replied in common with a simple... "yes". The two stood there facing each other to the light of the moon and the chill air of the mountains.

The knight asked her what she was doing on the surface... at first Aly attempted to lie her way out of it... but this time it did not work. This knight saw right through her lies. "Maybe... I can find another way out of this." Aly thought to herself with an open mind.

Aly asked this knight if he knew of one called "Talie" and he did. This was good for Aly, she could use this knight in her plot for revenge. Aly told the knight her tale of love lost... of a betrayal and of Talie... a freed slave who still served her master. The dragon had given her a name once... which she now used... the name was "Crow". Of course, the knight knew him. Aly asked this knight to pass a message to Crow that one of his own is still held by the Mori magic of binding... that a spy was in his midst!

The knight did not believe Aly at first but after much negotiation he agreed to pass the message and maybe set up a meeting. Aly grinned to herself... the chaos this would bring to Mori if they lost a surface spy! The first step to redemption was done... now she had to wait and plot her next move. The knight escorted her back to the cave... after a few teasing words from aly she bid him goodbye and entered the cave... perhaps her brothers tolerance was wearing off on her? She shrugged and started the long journey home. Aly kept the cloak he gave her and almost relished the smell of this "human".

A challenge was made by a yathrin to find someone who could equal or best Aly'Ffyn in song and tale... none yet have been found.

After finding Celith being threatened by Razlo... Aly watched as Celith attacked Razlo and quickly fell... noble born acted on this and dispelled most of Razlo's enchantments and Aly quickly moved in and attack... the combination of Aly's blade and noble born's magic lead to Razlos defeat... though they could not dispose of the body... Razlo disappeared into the ground. It seemed he was saved by his sword.

So, Razlo is not our captive any more? I thought he was to be given to Valsharess as a gift.

Aly wasn't even going to act on Razlo killing Celith because he just a loud mouthed Jaluk to her IC (no offense Celith I love your RP) it wasn't until Noble Born got involved that Aly was forced to act IC and jump into the fight.

Aly traveled to the surface to meet her contact... but this time the contact was different. It was a female drow... living on the surface in a temple called Luna. This was not the first time Aly heard of it but that would have to wait. She spoke to this "surface drow" about the slave Talie still held by Mori magic. The surface drow knew Talie and said she would help find Crow for Aly.

Little did Aly know that Crow was there hidden by magic listening. He reveled himself finally to Aly. Aly thought she was either lucky... or dead, it would soon be decided. Crow said he would protect Aly on the surface for the time being if Aly told him of the slave. She did, Aly told him about the binding of magic and the power of the one who held her.

They were interrupted though and Aly decided it best to cut the meeting short and head back to Sizith. At the entrance to the cave Aly found a dead gnome... with surfacers so close Aly had to act concerned for this.. gnome. She brought the surface drow to raise the gnome and after a short discussion of the "evils of her kin" Aly bid them aluve' and returned home.

She did not trust the surfacers and they would be fools to trust her. She hoped that at least her message got across to them and that her revenge will soon be completed. Aly needed time now to think of her next move... and time was something she had plenty of.

Aly stood at her favorite spot on the side of the road playing music to all who would listen when a cleric appeared in the distance. This cleric began to question Aly about who she was and why she was here... Aly answered his questions easily but this still wasn't enough for the cleric who ran to Fae to get a guard. He returned with Crow and Talie both knew Aly so her disguise was pointless now. She spoke candidly to Crow about her reasons for being there and Crow said for Aly's safety she had best return to the cave. Aly frowned at this and glared at the cleric...

"How dare he question me and my intentions... no bother... Ill deal with that one later" she thought to herself

After waiting a few minutes in the cave Aly returned to the surface and headed north. In the meadows she heard the sounds of battle and looked on the hill to see the yathrin Pau fighting with the noble knight Seraphim.

"Nau!" she said to herself as she ran up the hill

Aly had an internal conflict now her loyalty to the yathrin who she patrolled with ofter or that of a fledgling feeling she had for the knight. Aly watched the fight that seemed to go on forever while it tore her up inside. The yathrin fell and Aly snapped she rushed into battle that she knew she had no chance of winning and the last thing she heard was a familiar voice saying "hold" then darkness.

Aly awoke in a bed... her face swollen from the punch that knocked her unconscious and her head ringing. She looked and saw the knight standing next to the bed looking at her.

"Not again..." Aly thought to herself bitterly

"So Pau escaped... this could be a blessing or a curse" Aly thought to herself. The yathrin clearly saw Aly watching the fight and clearly was wondering what she was doing there... "Just my luck... most likely she reported me as working for the surfacers" "Now... what to do... to return to Sizith could be a death sentence but staying here IS a death sentence." Not that any of that mattered... she was to weak to return to the Underdark and Seraphim never left standing outside her door.

Nedy came into the room and asked if Aly was well enough to move... Aly simply nodded and followed Nedy. They walked some distance on the surface to a Tavern that Aly had never seen before. Inside awaited two individuals an aasimar warlock and an elven fearn. They discussed a meeting that would happen that night that would involve the fate of Aly.

The attack from the female cleric came swiftly and brutally. Aly not being prepared at all for a fight fell quickly along with the jalil. Aly felt a great weight on her... her hands and feet were bound and her head was in great pain. Aly opened her eyes to see a male tiefling sitting on her a knife on her chest and his hands around her neck.

The male interrogated Aly about what the drow planned to do with the coven... Aly at first tried to struggle and he choked her and hit her in the face with the hilt of his dagger. The hit was nothing to Aly who shook it off easy.

"You hit like a jaluk" Aly said with a smirk... bad idea. The male then started to choke Aly and to prove a point he stabbed her in the shoulder. Aly stopped struggling then and told him her story as to why she didn't know much... Aly couldn't tell if he believed her or not and at that point... she didn't really care. The male released her though... warned her that if wasn't for her "good looks" he would have left Aly for dead.
In a daze Aly found her way back to the tavern where she collapsed.

The unlikely group of "outcasts" were lead quickly and quietly into a study where they were allowed to wait in relative safety for the meeting. After the encounter with the female human cleric Aly was not taking any chances and locked the door to the study and waited armed and ready.

"Here I am... a noble marked female of the strongest house in Sizith now hunted by both my own kin and the ones that we hope to shelter us and we are forced to hide in a closet" Aly muttered to herself in high drow.

"Where is Seraphim when I need him most" Aly said to herself outloud. She stopped a moment after that... she couldn't believe she had just said that. After all, it was Seraphim who got her into this crazy ordeal, but she could not deny it she needed Seraphim. His unwavering strength was something she admired.

The Argent Maid chimed in at that comment... something about Aly liking him. Aly could only glare at her for a moment but then her eyes went to the floor and back to the door.

Aly watched the two young jalil with her closely as she guarded the door to the study. There was Huldra, who though rather naive, had a child like innocence that Aly could only envy. She danced around without a care in the world... even though Aly knew all to well the dangers that she faced. The other was Nadria, a much more serious and somber jalil who didn't seem to enjoy Huldra's dancing. Aly watched as Nadria bickered and berated Huldra to the point that Aly had to tell Nadria to relax and try to rest... it could be the last time any of them could enjoy such an activity as dancing. Thankfully the Argent Maid chimed in and told everyone to relax.

The two young females were asleep, finally. Aly ached liked she never ached before. Every muscle in her body screamed for rest but her mind still raced from all the events that transpired. Who knew how much time past while they were in the windowless study. Aly decided they were safe enough to get some rest herself. She sat on the bench next to the Argent Maid and listened to her tales as she drifted in and out of a restless fitful sleep.

The Dream:

Aly watched as if she was someone else... her death at the hands of Vorne, her captivity at the hands of Maya... her meeting with Seraphim, then crow and finally the one who she know called the argent maid. She saw her big brother... who looked somber as if there was a great weight on his soul. She saw the members of her family... gathered at the house.

Aly was alone... in total darkness. Her eyes could not penetrate this darkness and all around her were noises that she could not follow, screams of agony and pain as if someone was being tortured echoed all around her. Aly was frantic she tried to run but in which direction? All seemed lost, hopeless... she was alone and was going to die of fright. Then, she heard it... in the distance faint but it was there... singing.

She followed the voice. Aly ran through what she guessed was endless tunnels. The only thing she could hear now was the voice, the song. She never heard the voice before but yet it was familiar.

Aly cried out "Who are you?" "Where are you?". No reply, just the singing continued getting louder and louder as she followed it.

"A door?" Aly looked at it carefully, but she dared not open it. The singing urged her to open the door yet she couldn't. She stood there paralyzed and alone.

Aly left the meeting in a fit of frustration and rage. She would have ripped the tongue out of that Dwarfs mouth if it wasn't for the Argent Maid. She paced back and forth bickering with the others who were dismissed from the meeting. Then there was Trent, an aasimar warlock with a happy go lucky personality. He made Aly smile... even at this trying time.

Aly awoke at the temple and heard a familiar voice... as she entered the main chamber she saw and recognized the young Dev'lin Jaluk.

"This is not good" Aly thought to herself. "He knows my name and has seen me here, now I have to kill him." After questioning the jaluk Aly decided her identity must remain a secret so she killed the jaluk. She had not noticed the other two jalukul there, one who was banished from the temple another who Aly had never met. Aly questioned the two and threatened to kill them to if they didn't answer her questions. Seraphim arrived at this time and asked what was going on. A temple residents began to gather and watch the four. After much talk between Aly and Seraphim it was decided that the banished jaluk would be taken prisoner and held till the argent maid would come and decide what to do.

Something had changed inside Aly. Aly felt different now about the temple and the followers of the dancing maiden. She knew she had to return to Sizith sometime soon but now... it would be more dangerous then ever.

Aly went to a meeting with Crow and delivered a gift on behalf of the temple then she searched for the young jalil Huldra.

A Drow attack on Stonebar... couldn't have happened at a worse time. Just when we thought we were making progress now we have a whole new threat to deal with. Aly decided against returning home now, she would be needed at the temple more then ever because everyone expected retaliation by the surfacers against the Temple.

Aly received a message from the last person she expected to hear from. Aly traveled to Qos to meet her contact and learned exactly what she expected. The temple indeed had questions about Aly's loyalty... she would have to be extra careful now.

"The Argent Maid was late to evening prayers... where could she be?!" Aly grumbled as she left the temple to search for her. The mistress had told Aly should patrol the Goborg Cave for a bit and that was where Aly would start her search. As Aly entered the cave she heard the sounds of battle in the distance. She followed the sounds and was shocked by what she saw. The Argent Maid was badly injured and there were three surfacers with her... one hidden in the shadows. Aly demanded to know what was going on and that the one in shadows show himself at once. The shadow lover tried to slip away but Aly could see him easily. She corned him and told him to leave the shadows... or else. When he did the two surfacers seemed to be as surprised as the Argent Maid.

It seemed to Aly that the two surfacers a male and female had "rescued" the Argent Maid and that the shadow dweller was an assassin! After much debate and questioning the "assassin" gave up a name... "Kor'ali". This infuriated Aly... not only did he attempt to kill the Argent Maid but he could be working for the fledgling house! The Argent Maid stepped in and said he should be taken prisoner and given to Lord Fynn. Aly disagreed... if this was not seven cycles ago I would interrogate him here, kill him and leave his body for the worms. Aly had changed though... she would follow the wisdom of the maid.

After two failed escape attempts the prisoner was delivered to Lorn Fynn... who after a brief interrogation Fynn decided that he was just an innocent bystander who witnessed the meeting between Kor'ali and the Coven. Aly didn't believe this at all... she would keep an eye on this one and when he would slip she would catch it.

Aly was at the Lunar Temple with Seraphim and Alexander when an armed human male walked into the courtyard. He asked is anyone saw a short male wandering around with blue and black armor. This made Aly very nervous. She showed the man her shield and asked if he recognized it... and he did. Aly gulped... her through suddenly went dry.

"It has started" Aly thought to herself as she felt a pit deep in her stomach.

A male approached the temple... Aly recognized him instantly but he seems he did not recognize her... thankfully. It was Fargoth Morcane... the house sent one of their best, this was not good. The Argent maid came and tried to open negotiations with the male but Aly new all to well that he would never listen. If Fargoth was here... it was for blood. He demanded to know where Aly was. This brought confusion to the human who never meet Aly before... but thankfully he said that Fargoth would have to go through him to get to the temple.

The fight was quick for some... longer for others. Only the unknown human could hold him off... they fought around the courtyard and the noise brought the clerics of the temple out ready for battle. Fargoth saw them and ran. After everyone was healed Aly looked to the human who asked who Aly was. Aly revealed herself to him and showed the human her insignia. She asked his name and he replied "Dellix".

Dellix asked Aly about helping in a future raid on Sizith... which Aly thought was crazy but she agreed to help him in any way she could.

Fargoth was still fuming. Aly'Fyn had turned heretic...Aly...He saved her life from rivvil scum and now she turned to them. The betrayal still stung and he was determined claim the life he had saved as long as it was wasted in the lunar temple. He had not organized a raid on the lunar temple only to loose one he cared about to them. No, he believed his contacts and would find the heretic.

Even if he knew the dangers of travling the surface, Fargoth decided to find the heretic and bring her back before others had word of her betrayal. It would not do if the rumor in Sizth was that they housed a heretic, it was a matter better dealt with fast and bloody. Fargoth packed the few items he believed he needed in case he had to go through a few paleskins to get to Aly'Fyn. Then he started the long trek to the surface.

When he neared the surface he meet what looked like a half-drow female from her height and skin color. They exchanged words and he quickly learned she was also a servant of the dancing bitch. He was sorely tempted to kill her right then and there, but it was not why he was there. Besides the female kept going on about being captain of the guards for the lunar temple and wanting to take him prisoner. Fargoth decided that he could use a escort to the Lunar temple so no paleskins would pester them, surely this woman must be known on the surface. He agreed to a peace binding on his scimitar and followed her, he decided to call her "sheep" for she was like a sheep guiding a rabid wolf.

Fargoth and sheep made their way towards the traitor temple when they happened upon a paleskin and Fargoth was certain the dancing bitch was having a laugh. It was Dellix, he knew him from the raid on the Lunar temple and the time he lived in Qos. He was a capable fighter and one of the few that could actually defend himself, not what Fargoth had hoped for. After some discussion Fargoth dispelled his magicks and Dellix decided to excort both to the Lunar temple, he didnt seem to trust the half-drow either. So much for the sheep being of any real use. The three of them continued towards the temple. When they passed the haunted forest a small group of paleskins were fighting so the two other paleskins felt compelled to join them, perhaps some twisted sense of loyalty. Fargoth quickly cast ethereal jaunt and moved away from them. He had no intentions of going near the Lunar temple unprepared, if he saw Aly she was coming home whether she liked or not, even if that meant dead, heretics got little say in their treatment.

After he prepared he went near the Lunar temple and outside the temple he was meet by Dellix, Seraphim, the Argent Maid, some bard (alexander) and a strange drow, he guessed the sheep was hiding inside the church. He knew he was outnumbered but he was here for the honor of the house so he could not turn back. He demanded they tell him where Aly was. The fools refused, simply stating that she was with them now. They talked for a while and they were unwilling to hand over Aly even in the face of threats, stupid rivvil. In the end Fargoth knew he had to tug his tail behind his legs or make them bleed before returning to the underdak. It was becoming apparent he would return empty handed. He decided that the only way to appease the house and the dark queen was making thes dancing fools bleed. He told them as much and warned them of more to come before charging them. He offered a silent prayer to the dark queen to let him bleed the heretics and their paleskin allies even when outnumbered.
He engaged Seraphim first since he knew he was deeply involved with Aly. As the battle started it seemed the strange bard didnt interfere, but simply sang some strange songs. Fargoth had little time to think of it as he fought for his life. After a short while Seraphim was laying on the ground bleeding and he engaged Dellix, the others seemed wary to engage him. He could not blame them, they served weak surface gods and he served the dark queen. But when it became apparent that the fight against Dellix was dragging out (30 secs+) the others decided to engage. The bard was the first to jump in and then the others also joined. Fargoth attacked the bard first and wounded him badly, he tried to run, but Fargoth cared little for battlefield honor and cut him down from behind. Then he charged the Argent maid and her silent traitor. Both of them went down in a fury of slashes. Fargoth once again turned to face Dellix who was left standing.
While the two fought he noticed that someone had raised Seraphim during the fighting and that Seraphim was raising Alexander. If given time he knew he had to face them all over again so he charged them again to make sure they stayed unconscious and bleeding. After dispatching them he fought with Dellix for a minute or two. It was clear that the fight would drag on before the stupid mayor would die, for surely one serving the soft gods would die before one serving the dark queen. Dellix again raised seraphim and ran further away from the temple where sounds were coming from. Fargoth followed and the two foght a bit more, but Fargoth could see priests emerging from the temple and he knew the others would be raised and get ready again soon.
He decided that he had reminded them what happens to traitors and heretics when they turn their back on the queen and house Morcane, so he ran. He heard a bit of footsteps following him, but they quickly stopped.

Fargoth continued all the way to Qo's before renting a room to rest up. He had a few bruises still even if most of them had been removed by the divine magic his infernal blood granted him. Secretly he was hoping to get his hands on Aly'Fyn so he could sacrifice her to his infernal master. As long as the heretic died, surely the dark queen would not care. But that was something he made sure to keep very secret these days, the nobles were the ones most scrutinized.

((hope you dont mind Aly, just the incident from another perspective

It was pretty clear they werent going to hand you over, besides Dellix and Alexander made their opinion quite clear, hehe. Had hoped to catch Aly, but dident expect anything but a fight after I saw Dellix, Alexander and Seraphim there....resent Seraphim, since I learned of his connection to Aly Wink

Aly sat in the disorganized study of the Lunar Temple doing her best to make some sense of the mess that was around her. To add to to her troubles was the bounty of 5000gp put on any Drow found on the surface. Aly heard the mass of "outcasts" in the halls and for a moment Aly thought of collecting the bounty herself... just to teach these fools a lesson. The irony that would be.

A pile of notes compiled by the priestesses was given to Aly... they all said the same thing. They were complaining about Aly turning the Lunar Temple into some sort of fortified encampment. Aly read each crumpled them up one at a time and threw them on the floor... the pile soon reached knee high. "These fools"... Aly thought bitterly. There was nothing to stop either a posse of armed surfacers coming to the temple to collect the bounty or another Drow raid from killing us all. How well would they dance if they are dead? Aly put her head down on the desk in frustration.

A very low knock was heard at the study door. Aly ignored it... she was content to sit alone in her misery. The door slowly opened and a priestess entered. "Aly"... said the priestess... it's time for morning prayers. Aly raised her head and glared at the priestess then remembered her place. "It's morning... already?" Aly looked around at the still disorganized study and realized just how hard this job would be.

Aly was happy to hear that some answered her call to arms to protect the temple. She was given the task by the Argent Maid to help secure the norther lands from Lolthian activity. In hopes of more responses she would split the mercenaries into patrols of all none Lunar Drow members to scout the lands North and for the time being not to enter Stonebar territory. If another attack on the temple would come Aly would hope to have better warning this time.

There was little cause for celebration as Aly was brought into the house of Rahn. She accepted the name and knew that it was time to start a new life at the temple. She knew this wouldn't change the perception she had on the surface... but it was a start.

"A good day..." Aly thought to herself. Two prisoners brought to the Temple... the first Aly knew as the "Golden Sparrow" in common, the second was an arrogant jaluk who would not talk. The Golden Sparrow gave up willingly the jaluk would not. Aly walked into the room where the jaluk was held with Seraphim and other members of the Lunar Temple... Aly removed her gloves and placed them on the table and turned to the jaluk... "DO you know who I am?" she asked in a bored expression. The jaluk of course answered with a "no" and this amused Aly... she smiled at the jaluk and said simply "I am the only one who can save your life..." at that Seraphim cleared the room and locked the door. Screams could be heard echoing through the temple.

Aly stood in the tavern that acted was the head quarters for the Adventurers Guild. The others laughed and played dice games.. not Aly... she stood there studying a map with the paladin Justan. On the map were marked three X's... she asked the paladin if knew what the marks were. He thought they were related to the drow raids... he was close. The X's marked the three cave entrances that were linked to the Underdark.

Aly pointed to first X in Fae woods... "To get to the surface from this cave a drow raid would have to travel through Nyr... which would be a waste of recourses." Aly commented and moved her finger to the X by Stonebar. Aly still waited for a response from the dwarves on permission to patrol the mountain for Lolthian activity. Justan stated that the dwarves were disorganized now and not to count on help from them. Aly wouldn't enter dwarf territory without consent... so the north would be a problem. The third entrance... the one in the hills was the most obvious point for a drow raid.

Aly had no natural gift for strategy but she was learning. Justan seemed to have the same interests... could be useful later Aly noted as the two discussed plans for the defense of the surface... the key would be the north and the hills.

Aly met the female elf archer on the western road... Aly was careful not to approach the elf and watched her cautiously. She seemed the recognize the elf as one she meet at the Lunar Temple some cycles before. The elf spoke to Aly and for a moments Aly was silent not sure if she should try to talk or to run for her life. Finally... aly decided it was best to talk.

The two spoke for a few moments when fighting could be heard in the distance... Aly thinking they were hunters coming for her she ran up a hill and hoped to hide till the hunters moved on... the elf followed her and there they met and spoke more. The elf seemed to be running from hunters as well... it seemed the coven was after her. Aly asked her if she wished to hide at the Lunar Temple and the elf agreed... what was one more wanted person at the temple now anyway...

Aly brought the elf archer to the Lunar Temple... after getting settled and a little more idle banter the Lunar Temple started to get busy with the usual lot of outcasts and tag alongs. It seems that the Argent Maid is caught in some love affair with this "Lord" Fynn... something Aly didn't think was the best Idea. At this time the Lunar Temple should be concentrating on it's defense and gathering all the help they can get... but now the Argent Maid was completely distracted with this love of hers.

A new member of the temple... a mori rothe names Irrtana. This was the last thing Aly needed. After a long stand off between Aly and Irrtana, Aly was dragged from the temple by her elven archer friend.

Aly was furious... she would deal with Irrtana one way or another. Her elven friend said she needed a break from the crowds of the temple and asked Aly to join which Aly agreed. The elf took Aly to a place she never saw before and there they talked and relaxed and realized the two had more in common then they ever thought.

Aly heard the movement in the knights room... she saw him packing his gear and she knew what it meant. An attack on a surfacers holy place by lolthian drow... she did not blame him for wanting to defend another temple. The knight left his room and moved to kitchen to pack some last minute provisions, at this time Aly snuck into his room and placed a letter and a flute in his satchel and quietly left the lunar temple. She was not one for goodbyes, and this goodbye would be hard on the bard. She went to her favorite spot on the western road and sang a song of a knight who heads off to war...

Farewell Noble Knight...

Aly met with the tiefling outside the Lunar Temple. They spoke of a spy within the Lunar Temple and that the spy must be removed. Aly gave the tiefling a description on the spy and her name... not they would just have to wait.

Aly's headache seemed to grow with each passing cycle... The Lunar Temple was now a hot spot for every criminal on the run in Aotor. The Argent Maid had decided that it was in our best interest to allow the paladin and the tiefling female sanctuary in the Lunar Temple for defending Huldra from an attacking mob. "This is not good," Aly thought to herself but knew better then to question the Argent Maids decision. The two spoke in private about the matter when Aly head a voice in the hall... the last voice she wanted to hear at the moment... Kara Addams.

Aly defended the Argent Maids request for keeping the two wanted criminals at Lunar even though she disagreed with it. Kara though her intentions seemed to be sound... lacked the diplomatic skill needed to sway the Argent Maids' decision on the matter. The Argent Maid ordered the Lunar Guard to remove Kara from the temple... and they refused. Aly watched in shock... the temple did not back the Argent Maid and they showed it in front of Kara and the others... not good. "If you want to remove Justan and the tiefling you will have to kill me... and I won't resist" said Aly with more confidence then she actually felt. Thankfully, it didn't come to that and Justan and Kara decided to have a duel instead.

The two fought though everyone knew Justan was no match for Kara... when all seemed lost her friends acted and attacked Kara. Aly tried to stop this but it was too late... Kara ran from the fight and Aly knew she would blame temple for their actions. At that moment they saw movement all around the Lunar Temple... archers were slowly moving into position and Aly yelled "Come Collect This Bounty!", of course there was no answer to her yell. The fight was brief and a few of the defenders were injured but there were no fatalities.

The Argent Maid had been missing for days... Aly knew was with the wanted criminal Fynn and had to act. Aly meet the head master of the Arcane Order Nae at the temple... they spoke about allowing some Lunar Drow into the Arcane Order at first but soon the topic drifted to Fynn. This seemed to anger Nae and it was soon very clear that Nae and Fynn were lovers. For Aly, this was the last straw... she would confront Fynn and get some answers.

Aly and Nae meet with the black dragon known by the surfacers as Renor the three entered Fynns' tavern and Aly watched as Nae and Fynn argued. Fynn ignored Aly completely which she had expected from a conman claiming to be a "lord". The three left the tavern and headed to the Arcane School in Mountains Deep. The dragon allowed Aly and Nae to ride on his back and they flew to the school. Aly and Nae talked well into the night about the fate of the surface and the plans against the Lolthian Drow.

The Argent Maids' return... and Aly was furious. Aly demanded that the Maid be confined to the Temple while she tried to clean up the mess that had been made. Many of the surfacers had spoken to Aly in whispers about taking over House Rahn... a duty she did not want and she was smart enough to know the other Rahns would never accept it, but it had to be done. Alys' first step would be to apologize to the SOTL for the Argent Maids actions and hope they would honor their agreement to protect the Lunar Temple.

Aly meet with Kara in the dark valley the two spoke and Kara demanded that Aly nor any other Lunar Drow enter the meadows of Fae woods... Aly had little room to negotiate after all that happened and humbly agreed to her demands. The Lunar drow walked a very narrow path and the wrong step could cause the temples destruction and all of their deaths... this Aly knew all to well. Aly meet with a male drow named Nyth... Nyth had serious questions about Alys' loyalties to the temple and her past affiliation with house morcane.

Suspicions grow as Aly did her best to keep Rahn together. Aly knew that the questions of her past would come, and that some would never trust her. "Time will prove me true to the Lunar Temple" Aly thought to herself as she rubbed her forhead and tried not to think of the headache that was a constant reminder of just how much she didn't want this job. Another meeting with Nyth... more questions about her past and the other houses... Aly liked this jaluk though. He was smarter then most and knew enough to stay out of trouble... a rare quality at the Lunar Temple.

A failed attempt to retrieve Fynn... Aly, Ralzo and her tiefling employee were unable to retrieve the coward as he slipped into the shadows and ran out of the tavern. Aly confronted Justan... she liked this paladin but he was clearly unhappy with her decision. The fight was averted thankfully and Justan said they would speak of this matter later. The only good thing to come out these past days was her growing friendship with the female elven archer... something about her made Aly tremble. They had a lot in common and Aly welcomed her companionship when ever it was offered... it was a nice relief from the constant headache of the temple.

Whistler and the jaluk infiltrated szith quite easily. Whistler took the jaluk through the center of the city to the academies and showed him the sorcerie. The two stopped and stared at the Temple of Lolth for some moments speaking in whispers of inquisitions and the fall of the houses. A young shebali jalil approached and how Whistler took great pride in questioning the jalil and making her crack under the pressure. "Just like old times..." Whistler thought to herself as her and jaluk moved back to szith center.

Whistler and the jaluk found the noble jabress in Szith center. Whistler recognized the noble symbol of House Kor'ali around her neck and new she could make a profit off of this one... "a shebali jalil has to make a living after all" whistler said in dry matter of fact tone. The deal was one thousand gold pieces for information on a clan of Kivvil hunting her house specifically. The Whitestars... so brash to proclaim their hate of Kor'ali Whistler just figured she was doing the Whitestars a favor anyway. Why not bring the enemy to them? After all... coin is coin.

"Hedges" wandered into Qos looking to sell some of her goods when she spotted the lone surfacer standing there. "Hedges" warned the surfacer that Qos was not a safe place to be alone... and that it was frequented by lolthian patrols. As if on cue a patrol of three drow and a rothe being lead by Yathtallar Pau of house Mori entered Qos. "This is not good for the surfacer" "Hedges" thought to herself grimly. She took out a scroll and hid it in her sleeve as she watched Pau taunt the surfacer. She commanded a jaluk of house Dev'lin to attack the surfacer... and it was then that "Hedges" acted. She used the scroll hidden in her sleeve to turn ethereal and prepare for battle but first she would help the surfacer with one of her songs... it worked the surface beat the jaluk and while the yathtallar Pau was standing in shock of what she saw "Hedges" attacked the other jaluk. The jaluk fell quickly but the Yathtallar and rothe joined the fight... they were to much for "Hedges" to handle so she used another scroll to turn ethereal and ran for the surface. The foolish surfacer just stood there and watched... a pity.

Yes I am to take the Tektura along with my other meds. I have read a lot of this forums take on Tekturna. That is why I have not took it yet

I am thinking of going to a naturalist and trying Hawthorn. I already cant tolerate the drugs I am on. These Tekturna side effects scare me.
I am very sensitive to drugs.
The doctor is weaning me off of the clonidine and wanted to add Norvasc and Tekturna which would be 5 blood pressure meds.
Thanks, mate
