There have been changes in UD around Szith lately.

New dungeon accessible through the knoll cave (never able to remember its name). Populated with undead (ghast & ghouls ) and lots of mines. There is a locked door however with DC 65 !

BTW, is there any potion/spell/item to protect from mind spells?

Also the gnolls on second/third levels have been replaced with Troglodytes. They are more difficult to kill than Gnolls, yield better xp, but they, for my PC, are arder to kill then deep trolls for equivalent xp.

Then, instead of the laughable Boxing Wrebet (or something like this), thay have put Blade golem (constructs), which for a single player are almost impossible to defeat (hey, I am no Fargol!). There is quite a few new mines there too...Just too close to the blade golem for my taste.

From Szith, by the Gnoll cave (Arbruth or something).

Up next Gnolls now replaced by Troglodytes

Next cave, troglodytes again and then.. BANG!

Next cave populated with blade golems.

I am sure Fargol will slice through their ranks like hot knife in butter!

Oh Beleg, there is a necklace called Medallion of Thoughts.. They used to drop that necklace in the kobolds cave (a very long time ago) when the priest drop the ring. It helps w/ immunity to mind spells.

Also, wizard can cast mind blank, so team up with a mage Smile

And I am not suprise you Old Timer can open a DC65 lock with both hands tied in the back Cool

i can *just* do the lock with right buffs and thieves tools.

golems are no problem for me to solo with hips and epic precision (1/2 sneak damage against crit immune peeps).

those dang trogs are pretty tough though with their immunities.

i can solo them but i gotta be careful...

the golems and trogs are hard Aly can solo them easy *still get hit though* but I dont see any none caster getting through them... especially at low lvls. It seems the server is moving towards powerbuilds only... not something I personally want to see.

I have hard time now moving to Qos using that road...

Troglodytes are tougher to hit, especially the leader. High AC and a lot of immunities.

For Golems, well I can't solo them. I am only an assassin! I can easily sneak pass them though (with Inv since they have high spot/listen skills I assume!).

It was easier to go through with Saya with spells and buffs Cool

Beleg, there is also an item called Golden Circlet which can be bought that has immunity to mind spells at the Mad Hatter on the surface in the Forest of Lost Souls. Costs around 80 k
