House Morcane

Elk'Inid was given word that his informant wished to speak to him and that he had a gift! One his Arrival Elk found the informant in Qos waiting for him. The informant was his usual self... wanting payment which was given then he told of an Elf ranger that had claimed to kill Morcanes and better yet he was coming to Qos. Elk couldn't believe his fortune.. one who killed Morcanes being delivered into his hands! Elk traveled to the tavern and found this "elf ranger" drunk and talking to the bartender. With the help of the informant Elk brought the Elf down to his knees and captured him.

After dragging his prize to Sizith he found the head of sorcerie in Sizith. "Perfect" Elk thought to himself.. Amenia would surely have ways to make this elf talk. After dragging the elf to Amenia's office the interrogation began. The elf claimed to have killed two baring the mark of house Morcane but did not have names. This enraged Elk who cut off his hand at Amenia's request. The elf remains locked in Amenia's office waiting further interrogation.

This guy couldnt have been over lvl 10... I find it hard to believe he killed a Morcane but he bragged about it to the wrong player Smile

Does this elf have a name, or are there reasons we shouldn't know about it?

Excellent would it be possible for him to help us in the sacrifice ritual? You may want to discuss with Rizzen about it, I do not know what exactly he has been planning so far.

My informant wishes to start a trade money for surfacers... he would be most eager to help in our search for sacrifices/rothe and even asked about it

I like this a lot. Officially or unofficially? Does this mean he will walk around free in Szith saying he is not a slave?

my informant wishes free passage through Sizith but I told him that would be a stretch... but with Amenia being involved in this and seeing that the informant has proven most useful maybe... but i seriously doubt a Lolthian Drow would accept it.

I am not keen on this idea. I have seen it often abused. See what Amenia says.

Well, i did not plan to be sacrificed! I rather want to find a way to escape and port back home, for i own a device (on single use) to do so. O was brought to Szith blindfolded + ported to Amenia's office.

My only reason to be here is that:
1-betrayed by this informant;
2- Slain 2 twin Drows (house less) when they raided Lunar Temple for their initiation test. They obviously failed...and therefore were not worthy of this House , ie Morcane.

The reason for their death is that they killed Belegs's Half-drow wife during that raid. They were tracked down by this ranger and killed. Their squire, sent with them to witness the testing, was lucky to escape for Beleg's bow string broke whwn he was aiming for his head...

The squire spoke to the 2 Drow before they died, and Beleg eard them talking about a brother still in Szith, family name was Do'ett.

Beleg, making an oat to hunt the survivor down and avenge his wife, spents a few time in Qos, gathering information on passing traveller. I was then he was trapped by this gnome, promising him some help since he, himself, also did not like drows.

Belegs is neutral about Drows. He married a half-drow, and is father in law is Drow, although an outcast. Beleg lived and was raised in the woods near Lunar Temple. He has met several drow in the past. As long as they let him be, they live. The same goes for surfacer crossing his path.

//ooc by the way, i am building this Do'ett brother, and hopefully join Morcane's House to avenge my 2 sibblings... Quite a cunundrum...

The story I am working on for this will involve Beleg being rescued by Nedy(the only surface Drow around his lvl that I know of). Just need to think of ways for this to work and the acceptance from Amenia.
