To clarify things, I see it as an opportunity for RP, especially for young players. The catch the traitor is always fresh and very Drow-like.

Had some tells with the player just now. Sinae is Lolthian, the mission she's taken on herself is to seduce slaves on the surface and...stuff.

I asked about her starting a thread in this section, but she said that she does "all her posting in game". I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation, because I personally think that that taken in combination these two things are bad:

1. Not spawing in Szith nor having regular interactions with other Morcane
2. Not posting anything to this forum

This is just my opinion though. The player told me that Sinae will be taking Ceil's suggestion that she meet with De'Lara to address Elk and others' accusations and make her intentions clear. If that resolves things IC then I'll be more satisfied, but in the long term I still disapprove of the above 2 things in combination.

Earlier today, I saw Sinae on (having not read the forum), I chased after her. She casted her retreat and jolted out of the Lunar temple. I followed her. Lost her, and decided to explored the surfacer with my drow charc.. since IC wise, she hasn�t explored all of the areas. Got bored, decided to go into Keepers of Silence cave (undead monks), heard fighting noises, I ran towards it, it was Sinae, before I could say anything or confront her, she bailed out yet once more. I think that if she was seriously RP her charc, she should meet with Keira and Keira can take her back to Szith .. place her in the dungeon until the IIharess speaks with her.

Within all of the mess, I think if Sinae is going to continue her charc�s story line, she should at least post forums or keep in contact with one of the Llothian�s drow. Otherwise, I don�t want to sound like a sour person but I suggest we remove her last name (Morcane), and let her RP her drow as a surface/exiled drow.

P.S. This is not the first encounter I have with Sinae & she just takes off. There�s been repeated incidents without any RP reasons why she �vanished� (homestone) out of the situation. If she continues, Keira will remove herself from the mission. And if she does see Sinae, she will kill onsite and discard her body inside the fell troll cave to let them feed off her corpse.. *laughs hysterically* too cruel? Hehehe

Just to make it clear... this was not pVp consent this was just consent to be hunted and ambushed. I would much rather have an RP session then just fight another player. Just spoke to the gnome he will wait for the meeting with the ilharess but he is still on board for this whole storyline. As much as it is disappointing that it ended this way (or stopped) I can't really complain much.. it was fun while it lasted and I got some really good RP from everyone involved.

Guys, I know very well Sinae's story... I just do not want to reveal it and spoil it...

I got really alarmed once, and I spied her and found out exactly what she was doing. If I thought her RP was not good, I would have used a DM to alter her name.

Her mistake is she does not keep track with our forums. Her RP is very good, if not exceptional, and she remains faithful to her character all the time, which is important.

At the same time, you have been given a mission to catch her... So do the same and remain faithful to your character... Wink

I am sure it will turn up to be very nice RP, and good fun for all.

If you see Sinae, tell her "Mysh asked you to use forums more.". I am sure once she comes in our world and see exactly what the forum is about, she will understand. Smile

A strong forum is the most important quality for a strong guild!

I can echoe Mysh's sentiment. Radra has known for some time what Sinae is up to. They have had some dealings. The RP on this one should get interesting - especially with what the Ulathtallar has cooking going down.

we had everything set... the way her capture would go down the people involved and then we asked for her consent she said no. So, we are being told to still capture her even though she said no OOC? I know her RP is really good... I've experienced it as a surfacer. As a Drow though every time one of us who is involved in this sees her she homestones. She not only homestones... she does it when by all means she should have no clue we are there. IE hidden in a bedroom behind a closed door of the tavern and ethereal. She does not even take a step further into the tavern she just homestones. Is that good RP?

I am confused now as to what we should do. I told her we would wait till she talks to the ilharess.

Your mission is to bring her to Szith. Talking to ilharess is an RP action, and will come in contrast with several other RP actions, which have happened already. Hence, this is irrelevant at the monent.

She will be brought to Ilharess as the part of the story which you guys have already determined. It is good to keep the RP going, and not changing it with metagaming actions. The ongoing RP is house members think she is a traitor and Ilharess De'Lara has oredered her capture.

If she goes directly to Ilharess bypassing everyone else, it will obviously destroy all the story and the efforts of so many other players.

I will talk to her, so she understands the "role" she will have to play in the story. She is very nice, so don't worry. Smile

You seem to be missing the point Mysh. They went to capture her and she refused OOC, so what are they supposed to do, pretend to capture her?

Waiting till she meets with De'Lara seems like the best choice given this player's behavior.

Sinae is not allowed to post on forums. Parents rule. No reason to disrespect that, imo... she could be ten years old for all we know. But, I'm not here to focus on that. I'm here to post for her... she's telling me everything to post, basically.

Asked her why she didn't give consent for the plan, and her answer (direct quote):

Obviously this is a very unique case... Please be nice to this guy and Sinae. The guy is only trying to help her. Sinae is ten years old, and her parents do not allow her to post on any forum.

I am sorry not to give access to our private forums, but this is reserved only for full members.

I have had a discussion with Sinae, who confirmed she would like to play in the plot. So your plan for Morcanes is to go and catch her, and bring her in front of Ilharess. You will probably have to give a small fight. After all this is what she wants.

Also please be gentle with your RP at Sinae, you may be dealing with a five year old child... Smile

Sinae, if you read this, I would still like to email your parents, if possible. It would be nice to know you are allowed to play what you play.

I don't understand, if Sinae is really ten years old.. why is she RPing that she's pregnant? I mean, it's possible.. but if you really ARE ten years, I am not comfortable with RPing about hunting you down and killing you/sacrificing you. I am not comfortable RPing this situation. A child (10 yrs old) should not be even thinking about this kind of stuff. I know this is a fantasy game but what kind of message are we sending to a ten years old kid? I do not wish to continue this RP plot. I officially (Keira) pull herself from this mission.

I reread this and came to this conclusion. "she could be ten years old"... at first I doubt that she was.. but then "Sinae is not allowed to post on forums. Parents rule." proves to me that she IS ten. Why else would parents won't allow you to post? It makes sense. *shrug*

She has been given me screenshots, and it has been brought to my attention that Sinae has managed to piss everyone off.

If you want to be captured, help these guys do the plot. They are wasting their time on you, and you do not even help them.

You have one day to get captured, and forget about the fighting idea. If it happens, you will just have to live with what I say at the moment.

One thing, which you have to understand is that a game, is a game, if it is fun from both sides.

If Keira does not want to carry on, I respect very much her reasons.

Sinae, consider this as your vey last chance to get captured, and finally start things moving.

I don't know if this helps but when I talked to the informant I made the rule that the elders do not want her harmed.. if pVp happens it will happen because RP dictates it. My hope is that this will be a pure RP event. I know Sinae can RP quite well... as well as everyone else involved. As felnak told me when i entered the guild "pVp is the reward for outstanding RP" This will not be a "there she is KILL HER!" type event... that would be very anti-climactic after everything that all of us put into this. I speak for myself on this though... others input is appreciated.

Bah. I haven't seen Sinae since before my last post, which is why you have a lack of updates. :/ With my char somewhat inaccessible for the time being, I'm not around as much to look for her, so. If any of you guys see her around, send her a tell if you need things answered.
