House Morcane

Hi. I know I'm not in the house or anything, but, thought I should post here regarding this.

At the moment, Rath Mori'hyanda is Ul'Saruk, head of Melee Academy. To my knowledge, anyway. He's been the head of melee for quite a while - however, because he isn't on much, the position is kind of inactive and nothing much "happens" with Melee RP-wise. Myself, I think it is important that all heads of the academies are active players. So... I had a chat to him, and, it seems he agrees.

What I'm saying, is I'd like to see some similar RP built up around Melee...

Two academy head positions are occupied by Mori'hyanda, not including Melee. I personally think it would be a good idea to have someone from another house take the position of Melee.

So here's what I'm asking. Is anyone from Morcane going for this position? If so, what are their plans for it? I know for a fact there are other people going for the position - someone from Dev'lin I think, and I know when he WAS an active player, Krall Morcane was...

If there is a Morcane player going for this position, perhaps it would be possible to RP Rath getting "kicked out" of the position, and some sort of deal brokered with the new candidate? Or if there are more than one, perhaps some sort of RPed challenge between the two? Not a PvP thing. I do not believe Academy heads should be decided through PvP. But... you get the idea.

You are very welcome to post here. We would like to hear your views, so feel free to write whenever you like, and don't worry about it.

Yes, I am aware of three academies at the present moment, which are occupied by HMH members. I have strongly opposed this, and expressed my concerns more than once sincerely. Hence, I had made the most I could not to let Rizzen lose his former title.

I have also accused the DMs who have been in charge of UD for showing favouritism towards HMH. I do believe that both, UD DMs who are currently active mean well, and they are good DMs. I am pretty certain both are way too busy as well. They have both done mistakes, and it is a great virtue to accept your own mistakes.

Something has to change. It is wrong when all the time only one house has Lloth*'s favour. It is wrong when all academies are occupied by only this same house.

I have very strong links with HMH. I have been one of them in very hard times with totally bad DMs -Mr. Drow Hunter Freppi- trying to break us down. Although I left the house, I still have excellent relations with the base of all old players. Obviously, I have nothing against players or HMH. I have a dream of a fairer Szith with equal opportunities for all players and all houses.

PS: I haven't posted at Dev'lin forums, because I am not aware of their link. Please let me know, if you know whether or not they have a forum. Last time I checked with Mordakarr, they didn't have one.
